I’m 41 and when i was a kid i was a habs fan. In those days the roster seemed to stay unchanged for 3-5 years. Nowadays players are bouncing from team to team from year to year.

I like Lubers take on it (as usual). Also, I think that there are so many more players to choose from and someone else said that as well.

I don’t know it it meant it was more of a team sport in the olden days but it was a lot easier to love your team when you knew year to year who most of the players would be. It takes about a 3rd of the season to get to know (and like or dislike) new team members. IMO.

Everyone says it’s The jerk and I believe them. I liked that movie but I couldn’t have told you the quote was from it. Now, if you had quoted A Hard Day’s Night I could have told you who said it, where they were and what line came before and after it. I am THAT much older than you.
